| Ken Haines retired as a Project Manager with the Dept. of Defense in 2004. Although he worked with wood for many years- building cabinets, toys and furniture; he now dedicates all his time to turning wood on the lathe, producing bowls, platters, weed vases, eggs, bottle stoppers, tops and ornaments. Ken is a woodturning instructor at Palomar College and is a member of the American Association of Woodturners; the San Diego Woodturners and a juried member of the San Diego County Carvers Guild. His work can be seen and/or purchased at Studio 38 in the Spanish Village Art Center in Balboa Park, San Diego and in several shops and galleries on Kauai, Hawaii. |
